Fire Risk Assessment

We can provide you with a bespoke risk assessment carried out by a Nationally Accredited and Registered Fire Risk Assessor which will ensure your compliance with The Regulatory Reform ( Fire Safety ) Order 2005.

This will also ensure the safety of your employees, protection of your building and the continuity of your business should you be unfortunate enough to suffer a fire.

Fire Compartmentation / Stopping

Complete fire compartmentation surveys with effective solutions and fire stopping installed to highest standards.

Fully invasive surveys (if necessary with before and after photographic evidence of work.

Fire Marshal Training

As the Responsible Person you have a duty to provide suitable and sufficient training for all staff. This includes persons to use fire fighting equipment correctly and safely. 

We can train members of your staff to take lead roles in the event of actuation of the fire alarm or an actual fire. This can take place at your premises with controlled gas powered fire rigs which enable delegates to use extinguishers on fires safely.

Fire Extinguisher Training

Even a small fire has the potential to destroy buildings, lives, property, and businesses. Train your staff to extinguish small fires safely without undue risk to themselves.

Introduction

Forensec (UK) Ltd was formed in 2001 by ex-local authority senior Fire Officers to provide an independent fire safety consultancy. With Michael Pierce as Managing Director, Forensec (UK) Ltd has expanded and now supplies this service to business in the U.K. and Europe. Before leaving the fire service Michael’s role was as a supervisory District Officer, with West Yorkshire Fire Service in charge of the team responsible for all Fire Safety matters for the City of Leeds. Michael has a wealth of experience in the Fire Safety industry.

We provide risk assessors who are Ex-Fire Officers with a minimum of Grad. I. Lambton Castle

In order to license the historic building of Lambton Castle we were required to perform a survey of the building as regards to risks and appropriate remedial action
from a fire safety perspective.

Lambton Castle is the seat of the Earls Of Durham and built in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The castle was reconfigured into its present state in the 1930’s.
The castle is uninhabited but used for events such as weddings, promotional activities, rural education and sporting parties…

Michael Pierce has provided professional fire safety advice and support to the company since 2008. This support has included carrying out fire risk assessments and annual fire audits in both the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Additionally, he has been called upon to support the investigation of both a major and minor fire at two of our sites, working with myself and third parties to ensure the design and requirements of new fire alarm systems not only met the legislation but are actually what we as a company need.
